Sleeping Babies

I've a confession to make...I'm obsessed with my babies when they are asleep.
I have too many shots of them snoozing...on me, on the couch, in the car, when they are poorly, at nap time, at bed time, night before birthday times, christmas eves...ANY excuse and I'm there. It might also have something to do with the fact that when they are asleep my hands are finally free for the camera!
There is just something about the rise and fall of their tiny chests. Their pursed lips that gently smile when I stroke their cheek. Their gentle sighs as I kiss their soft heads and their fingers clasped tightly around their soft friends. It just gets me. Everytime. Unbelievably peaceful. Completely at rest.
I'm sorry I have to check you ten times a night guys just to watch you dreaming...

Catching up: Baby T's arrival

Alright, I know this is oooooooo 8 and a bit months overdue, but nonetheless here it is. The little mans arrival. Baby T. 'Mate' as A calls him. The mose edible baby around as far as I'm concerned these days.
To be fair on the little guy he didn't have the best announcement that he was arriving in the first place, nevermind his arrival being recorded 8 months after the event! Baba T was unexpected to say the least. Not in a 'oh aren't we silly but we knew what would happen' kind of way. More in a 'You're ovaries are full to capacity with cysts of the polycystic variety and future children may be a stuggle for you' kind of way. but that's for another post.

I struggled with SPD from about 5 months into the pregnancy and despite the lack of mobility and chronic pain was appeased by the assurances of an easier birth due to all my joints being SO relaxed. Little did I know just how easy it would be!

Baby T: 8 months and four whole days

Hey guys

I just wanted to say hello as you haven't seen much of me since my escape from the inside; A seems to have hogged the photo limelight a bit. I'm not really keen on the whole paparazzi mum thing anyway which is why all my shots come out like this...

I like to try and put her off a bit, 20 clicks later she gives up and comes back to play with me.
I can clap these days. Oh yeah that's right. Clap. Are you funny? I'll totally give you a round of applause for that. Fall over much? That really gets me clapping. You can sing you say? Excellent! We will get along just fine as long as you know this.

I'm not that blogger...

I'm a bit haphazard with this whole blogging thing...I LOVE reading other people's, and when i'm 'in the zone' I love throwing up the odd post but I can't help but feel I am not that blogger.

That super-organised, picture perfect, design knowing, social media savvy blogger that secretly I'd love to be! You know, like, a proper blogger.

I don't actually have a computer to work on, just the husbands work one of an evening when it's not in use by himself! Sometimes, I swear it is like reliving the early 90's in this house. We're still listening to CDs on an actual CD player and connecting to the net once a day! I'm probably one of a limited number who won't use the internet on my phone because I think 'touchscreens are crap' and tweeting goes right over my head (I do try, honest). We're only 25...I'm starting to think we're putting our kids at a 20 year technological disadvantage.

Anyway, I digress. Blogging. I've no idea what I'm doing. There is no clear plan, no theme, not even many coherent posts but there are frequent bad pictures (I'm using a pretty much broken finepix pocket camera to catch my moments...) I'd love to have loads of gorgeous photos of my little ones and especially their little moments and achievements but the reality is I'm always with them and my camera is not always with me! The dreams of a better camera and the time to learn how to use it are for a time far away from now! Lets face it; I am just a hopeless blogger...
